For Today....August 3, 2012
Outside my window...The sun is brightly shining and I can hear the train going through!
I am thinking...about the hurt that my friends at FBC Hammond are feeling. Praying that they will not waiver in their faith and stand and lean on God as their solid rock.
I am thankful for...my friends and family that stand by me through thick and thin.
From the kitchen...a sink full of dishes to be done. Trying to figure out what we are going to be having for dinner.
I am wearing...Pink striped shirt and blue jean skirt!
I am reading...Proverbs in my Bible and A Love That Multiplies by Jim Bob & Michelle Duggar.
I am hoping...that today doesn't drag by. Work has been extremelly slow lately.
I am hearing...customers talk to Bev (childhood friends of her children)!!
Around the house...laundry needs to be folded, toys need to be sorted!
One of my favorite things...watching the Olympics nightly with the kdis!
A few plans for the rest of the week...15 year class reunion tomorrow, church on Sunday!
Here is a picture thought I am sharing....
Here are the kids enjoying breakfast while visiting their Dad up in Chicago a few weeks ago!

For Today....1/19/2008
FOR TODAY~ January 19, 2009...
Outside my window...I actually don't have a window in my office at work, but last time I walked by and looked outside, it was cloudy and dreary looking.
I am thinking...about the Crown Financial Class I am starting tonight at Church and praying that it will help me and Tony get things in order.
I am thankful for...my friends that stand by me through thick and thin.
From the kitchen...a sink full of dishes to be done. Probably tacos one night and spaghetti another. Not sure what else will be fixed.
I am wearing...Chocolate colored shirth with cream sweater and chocolate pants.
I am reading...Genesis & Psalms out of my bible.
I am hoping...that my husband has a good day at work and will not have to go back in tonite.
I am hearing...WIBI coming in and out on the web tonight and the phone ringing out in the front office.
Around the house...just a few more loads of laundry after the 9 I did over the weekend and cleaning out Brooklynn's closet.
One of my favorite things...cuddling on the couch with a good book in front of the fireplace.
A few plans for the rest of the week...work, Crown Financial Class, work, taking Brooklynn for blood work and lounging around the house :)

This is Brooklynn yesterday morning before church. I really am not sure what she was getting ready to do, but as you can tell by the look on her face, I caught her headed somewhere! :)

The Lord has gained another Angel....
I am sad to post this but for those of you that have followed precious little Camden's story http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/camdenmarshky, he grew his wings this morning and is now in Heaven.

Brooklynn Walking
Brooklynn started walking about 4 weeks or so ago, just before her 1st birthday. This is a video of her walking last night, giving Daddy hugs and then ignoring Daddy and giving Mommy hugs! She is her own character! Enjoy!

Abraham Lincoln lands in Mount Vernon...
For the last 14 months, I have been scurrying around behind my crazy boss planning for an 8 1/2 foot statue of our 16th President to be placed here in Mt. Vernon. Last Thursday the 18th the crazy planning finally paid off with a great tribute to a terrific President. The Illinois Supreme Court was in town to hear Oral Arguments (which is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be able to see) at the Fifth Appellate Courthouse. This was the first time since 1897 that they have been in town to hear a case. Lincoln, as a lawyer, has been a long awaited treasure for our city and I am proud to say that I am a part of history that was made. Enjoy the pics!
Abe arrives in Mt. Vernon via Truck...
All bundled up for the unveiling..
Making my debut in front of 100's
This was my worst enemy for the last 14 months but it all paid off...
